Guests from the Materialise World Conference were walking one block from the SQUARE to the BOZAR Centre for Fine Arts to join the official opening of the exhibition: "MAKING A DIFFERENCE / A DIFFERENCE IN MAKING", curated by Marta Malé-Alemany and produced by Materialise to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 3D printing pioneer.

All these questions will be explored at MAKING A DIFFERENCE / A DIFFERENCE IN MAKING, from April 24th to June 7th at the internationally-renowned BOZAR Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels. Materialise has been working with curator Marta Malé-Alemany to put together this exhibition that looks at 3D Printing with both the eyes of fascination and a deeper observation of its consequences.

People’s fascination with outer space is one that goes back to the beginning of time. It brings out a sense of wonder in people because of its vastness and beauty. Last summer, four German high school students with the same wonder wanted to know more about our atmosphere. They created a group called Cantucky and built a satellite as part of the “CanSat” competition. The name of the competition says it all: its goal is for high school students to build a satellite the size of a standard beverage can.
