Sjoerd Kolk

Sjoerd Kolk is a Business Developer at Materialise. He focuses on bringing the latest technologies in the Mimics Innovation Suite, such as Scripting, the X-ray module, Lightweight Structures, and Muscle Segmentation to the market and collaborating with various partners to establish scientific credibility for these tools. He obtained his MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Twente, the Netherlands, and performed PhD research at the Radboud University Medical Center, the Netherlands. He has authored multiple scientific papers on state-of-the-art image analysis, the biomechanics of the musculo-skeletal system, and the functional outcome of orthopedic interventions in the lower limb.
