Simulation in Materialise Magics
Simulation is an essential tool to predict build failures. In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create a calibration profile your machine in Materialise Magics Simulation software. We recommend that you first create a calibration build for your machine to capture your machine settings, powder properties and process parameters. We’ll then show you how to set up a mechanical simulation in Magics and run it in the job manager. Finally, you’ll learn how to inspect the simulation results on various failure criteria and adjust your support structures when needed. Materialise Magics makes it easy to improve your previous build setups and re-run the simulations fast.
