PTC, a leading CAD/CAM and PLM company, presented advancements in 3D Printing related to their recently announced CREO 5 at the Materialise booth at formnext today. This Metal Additive Manufacturing module, part of PTC’s CAD system, is an add-on module with the specific purpose to prepare metal parts for AM.
During the presentation, Jose Coronado, PTC product manager, explained how CREO 5 will be compatible with Materialise’s Build Processor system, allowing a seamless connection between their designs and printed parts on every 3D printing machine that is equipped with a Materialise Build Processor.
At formnext, many partners of Materialise, like Siemens, HP, SAP and many others, presented at the Materialise booth, sharing their insights on their products and collaborations with Materialise.
