Qualifications & Experience
Responsibilities
- Participate in the MS Finance and Operations roll-out project
- Assist the project manager regarding the platform related aspects (provisioning of environments, managing of licenses, coordination with security and infrastructure)
- Validate technical and functional aspects of solution design
- Ensure smooth transition from the project to operations
- Ensure that applicable IT general SOX controls are fulfilled and business SOX controls are taken into account
- As a product owner, take leading role in maximizing value of Materialise ERP business applications (MS Finance and Operations, MS Dynamics NAV)
- Convey vision and product goals
- Define product roadmap working together with architectural team
- Ensure optimal business-IT collaboration and demand management process:
- Gathering of requirements and initiation of projects in collaboration with business and analysts
- Creating and maintaining of product maintenance backlog; prioritizing and sequencing of the backlog according to business value
- Organizing and coordinating of user acceptance testing
- Coordinate with portfolio manager to prioritize and sequence projects and put them on the timeline
- Manage projects within the business domain
- Identify dependencies/impacts of different changes on the product, the business domain, and on the supporting infrastructure to reduce risks of service disruptions
- Collaborate with service desk, development teams, and vendors to improve service level (handling of incidents, service requests, problems, changes)
- Ensure high quality of documentation about the ERP systems, assist in defining training programs for business and technical users, convey knowledge about the product
- Provide budget input related to the product
Requirements
- Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent through experience or Bachelor/Master degree in Finance/Economics with experience in implementing automated solutions
- Knowledge about functional and technical capabilities of Microsoft Finance and Operations
- Given the international environment, excellent communication skills in English
- Experience in business analysis based on known frameworks, methods and tools
- Experience should cover business driven and transformation-based projects aiming at implementing new software solutions inside the organization
- Experience in projects covering integration of different solution platforms is required
- Ability to deal with incidents, problems, and change requests
- An open mindset and willingness to take the business perspective
- Capability to work with little or no supervision and to effectively prioritize workload, open and pragmatic in approach
Will be a plus:
- Service management framework (ITIL) knowledge
- Microsoft Finance and Operations certification
- Knowledge about SOX compliance from IT and business side
