As our Website Business Owner you are responsible for our digital customer interface. Our public website is often the first contact our prospects and future customers have with Materialise and it’s in your hands.
You are intrigued by the WWW and will maintain a solid quality management of the business as usual while watching market trends and striving for a solid but flexible and future proof environment.
You know all our public interfaces and the business logic behind its behavior. You advise the internal marketing agency and define the best possible solution for different campaigns and deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience
Responsibilities
- Watch over the overall quality of the worldwide Materialise Public websites
- Take ownership for the publication of new pages, verify assets, and integrations
- Test pages across browsers, operating systems, and devices
- Execute a regular assessment of the general performance of the site
- Define guidelines and best practices
- Define and maintain governance, user roles, and responsibilities
- Watch over Domain strategy, naming conventions, and taxonomy
- Assist UX and analytics experts in setting up A/B tests
- Be curious and stay informed about new technologies and software to develop the online presence and success of the sites
- Act as primary contact for internal clients and external suppliers
- Train and onboard new users (create manual / video support)
- Support Legacy platforms until migration to newer technology
Requirements
- Familiarity with web standards and best practices on state-of-the-art public corporate websites
- Working knowledge of content management systems (preferably Kentico)
- Knowledge and/or interest in the technical setup of headless CMS and front-end technology
- Attention to details
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proven experience as a Webmaster
- Proficient in HTML, CSS
- Basic experience with Photoshop or other image editing tools
- Experience with JavaScript, JQuery, and Web APIs is an asset
