CAPE (Cloud Automation Platform for Enterprise) is a SaaS platform, providing the core features of the Materialise Software for Additive Manufacturing to customers. CAPE also enables internal product and research teams to easily add new features, diminishing the gap between research and end-customers and reducing time-to-market.
CAPE leverages AWS services and we apply state-of-the-art development, test and deployment practices such as Continuous integration, Continuous Delivery/Deployment and Infrastructure as Code. This allows us to create a reliable, secure and scalable solution.
Qualifications & Experience
Responsibilities
- Creation of new features, extension and support of existing platform as part of CAPE (Cloud Automation Platform for Enterprise) team.
- Development, optimization and support of Cape Back-End
- Technical leadership for development team
- Provide technical leadership for development team
- Guide development team about using of best practices
- Communicate details of solution to development team
- Communication with other teams/departments
- Communication and negotiation on architecture solution and it’s implementation with other teams/departments.
- Participate in general company’s activities related with cloud solutions and appropriate consultancy
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python
- Hands-on experience with Linux and AWS (EC2, ELB, S3, Lambda, etc.) required
- Experience with unit testing, version control, container technology (Docker)
- Experience working with end-users to collect/discuss complex business requirements
- Experience with distributed systems
- Familiar with best practice of software development within the Agile environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to highlight risks and propose efficient solutions
- Self-starter
- Proficient in English
- Experience with Terraform and FastApi will be a plus
