You will work alongside our brand-new daughter company Link3D, where, together, we provide companies a platform of software tools that manage and control their 3D printing process more efficiently. You will have a direct impact on our ability to help companies gain control over their manufacturing floor as they scale up their additive manufacturing capability into volume production.
As the DevOps Engineer, you will be able to apply your creative problems solving skills to determine the best ways to manage a growing number of environments across our customer base. As our growth continues, we need experienced individuals that can help ensure the integrity of our infrastructure as we rapidly evolve to handle our customer’s fast-growing industrial 3D printing production environments.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will:
- Ensure the stability of all Link3D environments
- Enable and enforce best practices for promotion of artifacts throughout the application lifecycle
- Create efficiencies by identifying opportunities for and implementing automated processes where possible
- Interface with client technical teams to ensure environments meet required specifications and upgrades are installed successfully
- Streamline the creation of new environments
- Work with the development team to maximize efficiency of deliverables Coordinate release schedules with the development and product teams
- Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills
- Continually learn to keep skills up to date with fast-changing trends

Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Hands on experience with at least 1 major cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Cloud Foundry, etc.)
- Knowledge of various configuration and automation tools (e.g., Chef, Rundeck, Puppet, etc.)
- Strong grasp of accepted best practices for managing various levels of enterprise environments
- Comfortable with administration of Windows and Linux Experience with at least 1 scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell, etc.)
- Knowledge of IP networking concepts like VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls Basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MS SQL Server, etc.)
- Mathematical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills *
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Preferred:
- 5+ years of experience and/or advanced degree in relevant field of education
- Knowledge of Java and/or JavaScript Knowledge of container technologies such as Kubernetes
- Knowledge of agile development principles
- Experience with at least 1 code versioning system (Git, SVN, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies
