Chris has a keen interest in the application and implementation of digital technology in healthcare. Since joining the Trust in 2018, Chris has been involved with the design and implementation of a cutting-edge point-of-care digital OMFS service, which has resulted in the installation of specialist surgical planning software, advanced clinical imaging methods, and 3D printing.

Andrew M Felstead is a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Royal United Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Bath. Andrew obtained undergraduate degrees in dentistry and medicine from the Universities of Birmingham and Bristol respectively. He is experienced in the whole remit of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, including facial trauma, facial deformity, and salivary gland disease.

He has been with Materialise for 2.5 years and is involved in both pre-sales technical diagnoses and post sales technical support. He has a master’s degree from the University of Sheffield in Bio-engineering, where his passion for technology and biology started.
