Benefit from an Entire Platform

Materialise Streamics is a modular and configurable software system. Thanks to the full integration of Materialise Streamics with Materialise Magics and the Materialise Build Processor, you can work with the most complete system to manage your 3D printing operations.

Depending on the workflow in your operations, specific functionalities and automation tools will be most relevant to you. This overview displays the main functionalities and features available today.

API

  • Connect your company’s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or other business software directly with your printing operations
  • Integration made easy with language-independent and web-based technologies (REST API)

Data preparation with Magics

  • Prepare builds and print job files in the most optimal way by integrating all data preparation functionalities of Materialise Magics and the Materialise Build Processor(BP)
  • Handle and track request changes late in the process in a straightforward way

Automated workflows

With this feature, you can:

  • Avoid human errors and reduce labor by automating recurrent Materialise Magics tasks with Robot
  • Analyze and repair parts entered in Materialise Streamics automatically. The tool stores the results in a database without any interaction needed from your side. The system executes the calculations required for the analysis on the server and does not need any processing power from your local PC.
  • Convert automatically any CAD files entered in the Materialise Streamics to STL
  • Performs automatic 2D placement and 3D nesting running Materialise Magics in the background

Automatic Labeling

  • Assign a unique serial number to your parts with automatic labeling
  • Increase information on your part labels with Data Matrix

Automatic multiplatform nesting

Obtain a faster workflow and build prep for laser sintering

Central storage of your AM data

With this feature, you can:

  • Manage securely the processes and communication involved in transforming a digital part into a printed part, such as quotations, orders, parts, platforms, builds, machines and subcontracts.
  • Handle efficiently your workflow to select parts and platforms, prepare them, and schedule them on the available machines using the interactive machine planning view.
  • Manage the workflows required to check the part quality and to finish the part according to its specifications, such as support removal, sanding, inspection, painting and more.
  • Control individual parts of your backlog, such as quantities, due dates, technology, part revisions and job status.
  • Make changes even late in the production cycle in an easy and straightforward way, thanks to the links between different data sets – unless specific procedures require that certain data cannot be modified anymore, as is the case in validated environments.

Production scheduling

  • Schedule AM production in your shop floor
  • Manage the available machine capacity using the machine planning view

Revision Control

  • Consults the logs on revisions
  • Archive, restore and track process information at any time

Production dashboards

  • Keep an overview of your production status, due dates, machine utilization
  • Obtain real-time visibility and intelligence when connecting a dashboard solution to the database using the API

Machine communication

  • Communicate with all 3D printers in the market exporting STL and 3MF file to any machine
  • Capitalize on all machine functionalities with dedicated Materialise Build Processors

Post-processing

  • Plan all the non-AM processes that are typically performed on 3D-printed parts (e.g. polishing, painting, etc.) before delivery
  • Use the Post-Processing Manager to create and control your own workflows
  • Manage your post-processing workflow using a web interface that can be controlled via barcodes to view and update post-processing related information, such as the workflow to be applied, detailed finishing status of parts and orders, and more
