The slice viewer of Materialise Inspector offers a vast array of functions that enable you to evaluate a build job. Thanks to its large data handling architecture, the slice viewer allows for a swift scrolling through slices and vectors, delivering a great user experience. Together with the other modules, it helps you to understand the process and perform a root cause analysis of the problems you encounter.

Quality Module
Today, 75% of the Metal AM machines are equipped with cameras, allowing you to monitor what is happening during the build process. The images taken before and after recoating can help you detect at least 60% of the errors, but when enormous stacks (thousands of images) are being generated, quality inspection can become a burden. The quality module of Materialise Inspector will allow you to analyze what happened during the build process in a time-efficient way. This will increase your confidence in the quality of the printed part. In addition, the multi-view configuration allows you to perform a root cause analysis in case of a build failure which provides insights for better data preparation.
