Materialise Robot allows you to:

Materialise Robot offers two different ways to automate operations:
- You can set up Materialise Robot to execute a specific set of operations for each file, by entering a specific folder
- You can ask Materialise Robot to execute operations for a file that you provide by using its programming interface
A Modular Solution
Materialise Robot is a modular solution. You can choose one of the options below or combine several modules, according to your needs.
Quoting tools
Do you want to automate your quoting process? Materialise Robot can do the work for you. It can be linked to your web portal and/or invoicing system and automatically:
- Extracts the parameters required to quote your parts
- Estimates the support volume
- Generates a preview (JPEG or 3D PDF)
- Sorts the parts based on their printability

Data fixing
Are you looking for a tool that automatically checks the quality of your files and repairs the most difficult errors? Materialise Robot can automatically convert, repair and sort your parts. The “Data Optimizing" option also allows you to optimize your parts by reducing the number of triangles present as well as reducing their volume by hollowing them.

Quality check
With the Quality Check module, Materialise Robot detects intersecting and overlapping triangles that can cause build failures. It also detects thin walls that can’t be printed. Try this module if you want to avoid build failures.
Conversion
If you need compatibility with all the leading CAD formats, you should choose our “Automatic Conversion” module. It will convert all your files to STL in a few seconds.
