Description of the different steps

  1. Rescale parts by clicking the ‘Rescale’ icon under the ‘Basic Flow’ tab.
    1. Rescale your part(s) by factor, resulting size, or difference.
    2. Check ‘Make Copy’ to keep the original, non-rescaled part as well.
  2. Hollow parts by clicking the ‘Hollow Part’ icon under the ‘Basic Flow’ tab.
    1. Choose the desired parameters to set the size and detail of the hollowed area as well as the hollowing direction.
  3. Perforate parts by clicking the ‘Perforator’ icon under the ‘Basic Flow’ tab.
    1. Perforation size is determined by the inner radius or the angle together with the outer radius.
    2. Click the area of your part(s) that you’d like the perforate, then click ‘Apply’.
    3. Check ‘Keep Subtracted Parts’ to print them as separate drain plugs. Check ‘Use Notch’ to keep these plugs in one direction.
  4. Cut or punch parts by clicking the ‘Cut’ or ‘Punch’ icon under the ‘Basic Flow’ tab.
    1. Navigate to the ‘Multi-Section’ tab on the right to use the three different cutting methods.
    2. Choose ‘Cut Visible Sections’ to cut the part(s) along the displayed section. You can use a combination of sections for cutting.
    3. Choose ‘Cut Visible Triangles’ when you want only the visible area to become a separate part.
    4. Choose ‘Cut Selected Contours’, then click ‘Indicate Contour’ to select which contour to cut.
  5. Label parts by clicking the ‘Label’ icon under the ‘Basic Flow’ tab.
    1. Choose a rectangular label or a circular label.
    2. Type in your label text and select the area on the part(s) where you would like to apply the label.
    3. Indicate whether you would like the label to be raised or engraved.
