Lead Times

The standard lead time (the time between placing and shipping your order) lies between 4 and 10 working days (holidays not included). The time depends on the complexity, material, and finish of your order.

Shipping Time

Depending on your location, the transit time for shipment will take UPS 1-5 days. It means that if you’re located a little further from Belgium, shipping can take as long as 5 days. After your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with the UPS tracking number. You can use this number to track your package.

Customer Pickup

This option allows customers from Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg, Germany, and France to pick up their orders at Materialise HQ in Leuven, Belgium (Monday- Friday: 9 am- 5 pm).

P.O. Box

UPS will only accept shipments to a valid street address, which means we can’t deliver to P.O. Boxes. It’s very difficult to squeeze a cardboard box in a letterbox.

Different shipping address from my own

You can ship your Materialise OnSite order to an address different from your billing address. Just fill in the desired delivery address in the shipment details during checkout. The country of destination determines whether you have to pay VAT (value added tax) or not.

Duties and import tax

There are no duties or import taxes for orders sent to countries in the EU. For the UK orders, duties and import taxes are included in the price. For all other countries duties or import taxes are not included in the shipping cost. Please contact the customs office in the country of destination for more information about applicable duties or taxes. The amount of the import tax is determined by the classification of the traded product, and this is done based on a code we indicate on the shipment document, the so-called ‘harmonized codes’.
